What is Xperience mode?

Strands Lighting Division offers several driving lights and LED bars with the E-mode and Xperience mode functions. Thanks to the Xperience mode feature, it’s easy to adjust the intensity of your high beam to suit any weather. It’s also perfect for drivers traveling between countries with different traffic regulations. The E-approved mode is certified according to European legal requirements and regulations concerning road safety. It gives your built-in high beams an impressive boost, and there are various beam patterns and models to choose from. E-mode is suitable for driving in bad weather, as it will lessen the glare from rain, snow, or fog.

30 000 lumen

The Xperience mode is on another level. This feature produces an over-the-top output with a long range and incredible brightness. For example, the Siberia XP DR 50” (Part No. 809430) produces 30000 actual lumens and 1260 m visibility @ 1 Lux. It’s the top LED bar for any driver who needs to tackle extremely dark and difficult nights.

How to use it

Your driving light or LED bar is connected to your high beam and activates automatically when the high beam is on. To switch between different modes, you always start from off-mode. This means the high beam and driving light are turned off for at least 5 seconds. Then activate the high beam and wait 2 seconds. Flash your high beam 3 times to change from E-mode to Xperience mode or vice versa. To change mode again, turn off your high beam for at least 5 seconds and repeat. Your product has a built-in memory, so the latest setting is saved automatically. Next time you use your high beam, you’ll find Xperience or E-mode engaged, depending on which was last used.

If you want to see the Xperience mode in action, have a look at the video above. Strands’ Technical Manager, Thomas, walks you through everything you need to know to hit the roads with a massive lighting boost.

Find the right driving light

Xperience mode is available as a feature for both driving lights and LED bars in different sizes and outputs. One of the most beloved driving lights with this feature is the Siberia Skylord, available in 9” (Part No. 270948-49) and 7” (Part No. 270947) models. The 9” model maxes out at 8860 actual lumens and a 751 m long-distance beam, and you can choose between black or white housing. Check out the video above for a light test with the Siberia Skylord 9” (Part No. 270948). You’ll see how the Xperience and E-approved modes perform compared to the standard high beam.

Hottest product 2024

One of the hottest new product series 2024 is the Siberia XP. The Siberia X (Part No. 270960-61) and XP (Part No. 270985/92) driving lights have the Xperience mode feature, and both are available in 7” and 9” models to suit any driver. Both have the XP signature position light in yellow and white. Check out this video for the X 7” light test and this one for the XP 9” test.

Find the right LED bar

The Siberia XP LED bars are available in different shapes and sizes, all with the Xperience mode, built-in relay, and yellow position light. Choose between single and double rows, straight or curved. With sizes between 8” and 50”, any vehicle can be equipped with this powerful LED bar.

If you’d rather have the amber and white position lights, the Siberia Outlaw UDX range is for you. The UDX has a somewhat wider output, which is perfect for detecting animals and other potential hazards on the side of the road. It’s available in three sizes, 8” to 22” (Part No. 809161-64), with different beam patterns. Check out the video above for the light test for the Outlaw UDX 22” LED bar.
