XBB POWERUNIT® 6

The XBB PowerUnit 6® is a perfect option when you want a convenient way to connect LED bars, work lights, and other components. By connecting via the XBB PowerUnit 6®, there’s less need to tear out the vehicle’s interior to find hard-to-reach cables. The unit can handle up to 6 functions per unit, with 6 outputs with a maximum of 10 A each. The relay connection is labeled ISO 8092-1. The XBB PowerUnit 6® has attachment loops for easy installation, and 6,3 mm x 10 pcs spade connectors.

The unit is also suitable if you have a lot of auxiliary lights and want to control the lights or position lights separately. Just like with the regular XBB PowerUnit®, it’s possible to connect 4 XBB PowerUnit 6® units to one XBB Dongle® or PP-CAN-FD®. This gives you a total of 24 outputs.

It’s necessary to connect the XBB PowerUnit 6® to an XBB Dongle® or PP-CAN-FD®. Both of these interpret the vehicle’s CAN bus data and monitor the active functions, such as high beam, reverse light, ignition, and others. This information is then transmitted via Bluetooth to the XBB PowerUnit 6®, which will activate the functions configured in the app XBB Configurator®. The app is available on the App Store and Google Play. In the app, you can choose different “recipes” for configuring the XBB PowerUnit 6®.

Depending on your chosen recipe, there are different signals to access; please refer to the list of compatible car models.
A successful installation starts with connecting the XBB Dongle® and choosing the right recipe. Refer to the manual for more details on installing your unit correctly.

XBB Dashboard is a function in the app XBB Configurator®, which lets you customize a virtual button panel in the app, switching symbols and colors. You can use the buttons to control the functions and monitor your vehicle in different ways, such as the battery. You can also add strobe light function, control PWM for outputs, and more.
